Thread: Difficult Installation
ok, here deal. installed ubuntu 7.10 , had horrendous time trying install , ended bad install because couldn't figure out how designate partition wanted in root file partition. knew had in 7.10 designate root file partition , rewrote hard drive windows program rid of 7.10 programming, , decided in process install newer version out of necessity. ordered disk of 11.04.
upon starting install newer version find installation process has changed once more unable designate partition want to, root file partition. say's use partition menu designate partition root file but, doesn't do that, , can't find "partition menu" access it. menu seem window in process, has nothing "root file" in it. can designate swap file, think, but, hell do designate root file?
