Thread: Slow wireless internet on ubuntu 11.04, samsung r530 with atheros AR9285

hey, i'm having issue here, i'm getting slow speeds on laptop when using wireless, did speed test , came out 2mb/s, when plug router goes 13mb/s. many pages freeze , need refreshing.
laptop has atheros ar9285.

not sure else needed appreciated, i'm not great @ moment.

i suspect part of known issue (i found thread while searching see if have published "real" fix it.) in thread, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1688173 , there work-around listed (disabling hardware encryption or that.) not using workaround have rather long cable can use backup, has occurred me since 11.04 came out, disappointed it's not been fixed in update yet.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
