my metadata presets not appearing in library module. preset none , edit presets appear. there various presets in users/roaming/appdata/adobe/lightroom/4/metadata templates folder. anyone got ideas please, metadata presets have disappered images well? have checked "store presets catalog" option on presets tab of lightroom preferences? if have, lightroom no longer looks in appdata user presets, instead looks in lightroom settings set of sub-folders created adjacent catalog....but these rather unhelpfully empty until user populates them again. how can dupe current site? i've tried option-drag > rename many links still original site. there must easy rational way this.   it may if knwo why want this.   1. current site has materials 2 sites. want dupe second copy can make further changes second version.   2. pages in current site not used. deleting 1 or more pages unleash 1 or more bugs or other problems such files question marks. way delete pages safely on dupe, not on original, , see happens.   3. best way delete page , links 1 or more other pages? far, seems drag system trash (site trash not delete it). nay still show in in/out links window not sure. you need make duplicate without renaming sitefolder. can make folder whichever name want , duplicate entire site folder.   to delete page drag system trash. site trash not delete in unless choose empty trash. when combining multiple pdf files single file using "combine supported files in acrobat.." feature (right click menu in explorer), combined document contains bookmarks each of combined files - far, good.   however, of book marks set show "page width" view of file - no good.  need set default bookmark show "full page" view when clicked.   i need set default there many bookmarks go , change individually.   how do this?  either default, or globally change display view once file created?   windows xp, adobe acrobat pro x, version 10.1.4 not possible acrobat. defaults cannot changed, , there no way alter action of existing bookmark via scripting can't automated without custom plugin (i don't know of 1 out of box). hola, tengo un par de artículos dentro de una categoría los cuales sólo se puede acceder al primero mediante link directo (no menú) desde la portada. la portada se puede llegar desde 2 menús y según desde cual de los menús haya usado para llegar la portada, cuando se entra al articulo linkado aparece o no la navegación anterior/siguiente y cuando esta aparece se ve además del título del articulo otro título encima que dice "artículos". ¿ cómo hago que salga la navegación en los 2 casos pero sin el título que dice "artículos" ? sin ver el sitio es difícil, pero por lo que apuntas parece que el problema está en que en un caso el artículo tiene un itemid del menú configurado de la forma que quieres y en la otra no. una posible solución es que el segundo enlace sea un alias al primer elemento de menú. this has stopped production @ our studio, photographing 20-30 seniors day.   problem in lr 3.6 x64 (win 7 home edition, x64). computer hp quad core amd processor , 6gb memory. our images stored on drobo fs, connected via gige our lan.   upgraded lr 4, , worked 1 day of importing. lr hanging on import dialogue, v3.6 did. seems happening in import dialogue, lr reading destination folder , hangs there. destination folder contains hundreds of subfolders, each of contains 1 senior's images. take while read of subfolders, , may things going south.   this severely impacting our business our workflow entirely dependent on lightroom. please help! if worked once, there shouldn't reason shouldn't work again.   i'd suggest starting recreating preferences.
