hello, have been working on small embedded computer side project @ university , have been having nothing trouble since started work. system had debian 3 on , trying install xubuntu onto system others less familiar linux. replaced hard drive before starting still have original installation , of hardware good. tried install xubuntu onto system using live cd, after refused start fell alternate install cd worked. installation success, when tried start computer, passed bios , blinking cursor, xubuntu splash screen, nothing , system halt. weird part... tried reinstall using alternate install cd again, , instead of using entire drive re sized partitions , installed second instance of xubuntu, time when tried boot computer grub popped after bios screen , both instances of xubuntu there. aside having 2 installations, both used small partition (only ~500 mb). right works rather working right way if possible. if has idea happening , how fix appreciated. thank you...

hi,   ever since upgraded lr4, i've noticed severe banding/posterization in shadow areas when using graduated filter reduced exposure or using vignette on amount -100.   i used these tools in lr3 create fade black areas in shots, have noticed now, instead of nice smooth gradient, hard black edge, green band stippled black before returning (in particular case) grey backdrop rather smooth transition black (like used lr3).   initially thought gfx card main 1 died , temporarily replaced older card. however, purchased nvidia geforce 630 replacement , it's still issue. exported file , viewed on partner's hp latop , issue still there.   i googled lr4 shadow banding try , find answers didn't have luck. 1 else experiencing issue, or have sort anomoly?   tech info:: windows 7 64bit lightroom 4.1 dell 2408 wfp monitor geforce gt630 spyder 3 calibration   any appreciated @ point i'm not sure whether it's system or lr4.   thanks in advance. suggest posting screen...

if select 3 or more guides @ different positions within artboard , have "align artboard" selected, when click distribute spacing horizontally button, not not distribute edge of page, aren't evend distributed evenly within artboard. on't have align pixel grid turned on anywhere, or use preview bounds. ideas? don't click on distribute spacing, click on of 3 distribute objects vertical if have horizontal lines, or of 3 horizontal distribute objects if have vertical lines.
