still getting used photoshop cs5.1. having problems crop tool. supposed snap guides, haphazard this. pixel or 2 off on 1 or more edges. means have pay close attention while cropping, , double check accuracy of results. slows me way down. web graphics, pixel accurate crops essential. tried resetting crop tool. using mac pro, 2008, 10 gb ram, , mountain lion 10.8.1. i think the crop tool snaps pixels while dragged size. if guide not precisely on pixel boundary crop tool not snap guide - should snap next outward pixel boundary.   after initial dragging out of crop box, drag each of sides away guide , guide correct snap guide.   if guides supposed on pixel boundaries problem may tiny bit off , crop tool snapping next pixel boundary outwards. ensure guides snap pixels, set ruler pixels , hold down shift while dragging guide make snap ruler divisions (regardless of rulers being visible or not). alright, i've spent week trying solve problem no success. need third party input before continue plans drive. here's story. have seagate freeagent 2tb external hard drive, filled halfway data, important data, need save. no joke. external on ground , accidentally stepped on usb cord, broke input external. having broken 1 before, did did before. took hdd out , hooked computer, problem showed raw format. worked fine, it's raw , asking me reformat. spent several days using photorec recover files, barley recovered anything. tried several other programs no avail. once asked me reinitialize hdd, biggest mistake, after doing in windows drive shows "unallocated space" , can't used tools such redcuva or ntfs undelete recover it, because can't select hdd , in linux says doesn't support guid file system. need save data on external , thinking of creating ntfs partition on external , trying use recuva or ntfs undelete try recover data, or...

hi, have form populate using 3rd party tool.  when form opened in adobe reader got message "this form has changed , no longer redaer enabled".  solved purchasing acrobat x standard , using re-save form as  "save as" -> "reader extended pdf" -> "enable forms fill in...".   when open again in adobe reader able fill in fields, save send else same etc.   however, co-worker needs uses mac.  had him buy acrobat.  able find "adobe x pro" bought.  behavior of program different.   when opens 1 of these forms has been populated 3rd party tool, goes save "reader enabled" options on "save as" menu different.  bottom on available (says "extended features". anyway, when chooses option available gets message says "this form reader enabled".  !!!!!  problem because if open same form adobe reader says "this form no longer reader enabled"   we have spent $800+ buying 2 versions of acrobat , still no...

i upgraded cs3 cs5 , need able import using twain can scan @ 256 colors used able cs3. cannot convert 256 colors afterwards quality poor. using 64 bit windows 7. tried installing twain plugin in adobe/plugins/import folder not show in import options after restarting ps. wouldn't mind downgrading ps3 if have to. can please? thank you. try installing c:\program files (x86)\adobe\adobe photoshop cs5\plug-ins folder.   get cs5 twain plugin , instructions here:   http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/twain-plug-photoshop-cs4-cs5.html   the twain plugin works 32 bit version of photoshop. i've noticed discrepancies between times recorded in image exif data time displayed images in bridge , photoshop elements organizer.  instance may have series of images shot within few minutes of each other.  after having done manipulation of subset of images , later on showing sequence in both bridge , pse organizer, have noticed time associated of images has changed.  bridge , pse organizer may show times differ several hours.  looks time converted original camera time utc , possibly time zone computer located.  pattern not consistent , may depend on adobe products have been used adjust or catalog images.  i'm looking , complete description of how each product handles image date , time stamp.  suspect there inconsistency in how done across products.  i'm using bridge / photoshop cs6 extended , photoshop elements organizer 10.0 upgraded cs 5 , 8.0 respectively.  use adobe camera raw 7.1 edit nikon raw files.  problem appears predate upg...
