i have site running in joomla 2.5.6. i getting memory errors message of: "php fatal error: allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried allocate..." that memory size equates 32 mb if not mistaken. i have changed memory limit 128mb in server's php.ini (and restarted apache). checking using phpinfo() reports correct memory limit. correct memory limit reported through system information in joomla back-end. i have tried changing memory setting in site's top-level index.php file, in .htaccess file. results still php fatal error shown above. i have not been able find php.ini file squirreled down in joomla directories, , cannot explain (nor figure out) why continues happen. any searches online, point me usual solutions i've tried above. i'm scratching head on one. cannot find 32 mb reference in server configs or joomla. any ideas? hi rob, have little experience type of problem, try create php.ini in joomla directory , write in file: memory_limit = 128m h...

in past couple of days i've been having issue mobile broadband connection. disconnects , connection disappears network manager menu. i trying update joomla 2.5 on godaddy hosting. i joomla update, seems happen, tells me on 2.5.8 , reverts 2.5.1 again.
