i've seen problem compression on dvds before, not sure i've done solve it.  i've got 80 minute output file blu-ray, , in areas, there subtle pulsing every half second.   i've got thought compression settings: vbr 2 pass target bit rate: 30 high bit rate: 35   searching online, see threads talking dvd compression, not blu-ray.  suggestions have been: (1) change gop 15 7. just been updated @ work adobe acrobat x on xp...when scanning 200+ pages @ once on multi feed dr9050c scanner goes slow , pauses between each page showing each page in tabs pages goes.  when paper if finised, select complete scan ,  optimises each page though have unchecked options.  process takes upto 30 mins complete.  how can disable option, not practical process when scanning multi pages. does have security settings?? our pc administration controlled im department.  great. a few months ago upgraded premeir pro 6. and jsut started started work premier files in after effects yesterday. today computer not  boot propperly (it took 4 attempts). premier acting strange. many of files had renamed in project panel went offline. relink them premier not helping me this. since renamed files in project dont remember original (numerical) files called in folder strored. it looks there premier cannot find them reason.   also upgraded 6.0.1  not helping. might cause of problem. any suggestions?    i dont think normal behaviour...   thanks krysten well, reboot troubles aren't normal.  you'd advised sort out first. hello. have been using ubuntu in k-12 school past 2 years great success. concept of unity toolbar in 11.04 believe kids find easier use. have been disappointed far in how unity responds changes. have 2 major problems have not been able correct. can help? (1) unity bar hides windows. when program launches launched behind unity bar. not since have resize window , move able see it. can't select/change article menu item. worked fine before, doesn't work anymore. very large pdf files (200mb) can take long time open. possible print out first page without opening document (grab first page avoid having wait long time document open)? there isn't idea in pdf first page separate. everything's jumbled together.   however, in general time takes pdf open, if it's on local disk, shouldn't depend on file size. i've opened bigger files , doesn't take longer short file.   how files held, , how opened?
