Why are the comments dreamweaver adds to css not treated as comments
in dreamweaver cs3 when add styles property inspector dreamweaver adds internal syles, starting <style> tag adds html comment <!-- before creates syle , ends comment--> before adds ending style tag. i've read dreamweaver hide css form old browsers don't use it. in new browsers, why don't see comment tags , ignore syling goes between them? is because css ignores html comments? thanks. as say, because css ignores html comments. however, putting wayward html comment within css file can disrupt interpretation of rules following comment. leave them out period. don't need worry browsers old anymore.
