hopefully 1 of guru's can frustrating issue!   every time click on motion manually reposition clip in program window, stalls. the whole app freezes, updates after 4-10 second delay. history panel waits update. it doesn't matter playback & paused resolution set to. it same working varying formats:  h264, avchd, dvcprohd, in sequences w/ settings match clip. i've tried both "optimize rendering 'performance' , "memory'" no difference.   running latest update of cs6. mac os 10.6.8. on mac quad core xeon 2.9 ghz, 12 gb. i've got 9 of 12gb total allocated pp.  video card is: ati radeon hd 4870   thanks much!   *randy warren how many hard drives, , 1 has video files? hi,   i using lightroom on desktop macpro @ home , on macbook while on go (or on coach). in order not lose edits every time switch computer, i've setup lightroom catalog files on dropbox. works flawlessly , i'm happy except 1 little problem:   when stop working lr4 need quit application in order new version of catalog uploaded dropbox. thats fine, forget , close macbook without quitting lr. when start working next time on other computer there risk start same catalog open. lr has created .lock file should prevent me doing that. however, unpleasant surprise, seems ignores .lock file. opens .lrcat file , can work , save it. when save open file other computer later, dropbox creates "conflicting copy".   all no disaster able rely on protection mechanism provided .lock file, supposedly intended work. question is:   how possible lr4 ignores .lock file , how can make lr4 refuse open .lrcat file when .lock file present? or @ least give warning ?    thanks ideas, jul...

good day,   i have installed wacom stu-500 digital signing pad onto pc. when open interctive pdf document, want able click on digtial signature field , add signature signing on pad. when sign document window opens, select new id select, "a device connected computer". after error message saying no hardware found.   the signing pad works fine when open document wacom program dont want this, want open adobe.   how can work? thanks, wesley when acrobat talks signatures doesn't mean written one. digital signatures quite different - term "signature" here means "works bit signature prove you, personally, signed it" rather "a name written out".   digital signatures more powerful thing, legally recognised in countries.   the wacom device seems aimed @ pos applications where, example, customer in person signs something. i working on plugin have validation routine (subclassing jformrule) needs inform part of plugin (subclassing jplugin) leverages 'oncontentpreparedata' supplement data being saved form based on numeric result of validation. try might, have not figured out way pass data. specifically, it's registration plugin provides authorization code field want value of code able determine user group assignment. i've tried various methods attaching data $_session, global $app variable, instance of plugin, etc. can't validation data persist when 'oncontentpreparedata' called prior saving registration data. any insights/suggestions here?
